Something in the Way — Young Street Bridge

A photogrammetry scan of the Young Street Bridge in Aberdeen, Washington, the 1956 bridge that inspired Nirvana's "Something in the Way" and that the city has weighed rehabilitating or replacing over its deteriorating condition (Consequence, April 2024: https://consequence.net/2024/04/kurt-cobain-bridge-faces-destruction/). The song starts under the deck by the graffiti, then the scan slowly drifts apart like wreckage and turns a full circle around a seated figure, while rain sheets fall to the drums. Tap anywhere to steer a strange dark fish through the drifting pieces.
